LEWISTON – Local marchers in last week’s March for Women’s Lives in Washington, D.C., will be on hand at noon Wednesday at Lewiston-Auburn College for a mini-march and discussion.

A group of 15 L-A College students were among the estimated 1.1 million who marched in Washington.

The mini-march will begin in the school’s upstairs lobby and will lead through the parking lot and grounds before returning to the lobby for a public forum and discussion of abortion rights, women’s access to health care and other topics.

Students from Bates College, Central Maine Community College and area high schools are invited, as are representatives of all political viewpoints, according to organizers.
