HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – Salomon Manriquez homered and drove in the winning run with an eighth-inning single to lift the Harrisburg Senators over the Portland Sea Dogs 6-5 Wednesday in the Eastern League.

Larry Broadway led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a homer off reliever Jason Howell (1-2) to make it 5-5. Manriquez’s single off reliever Charley Weatherby scored pinch-runner Juan Camilo from third base with two outs, snapping the tie.

John Hattig gave Portland (10-15) a 5-4 lead in the top of the eighth when he led off the inning with a homer off reliever David Maust (1-0). Hattig’s homer came an inning after Portland tied the score at 4 on Mike Campo’s sacrifice fly off Gerardo Casadiego.

Harrisburg (10-15) built a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning off Sea Dogs starter Josh Stevens on Manriquez’s solo homer, Melvin Dorta’s two-run double and Dominick Ambrosini’s RBI single. That rally erased the 3-0 lead Portland took in the third inning on Brett Roneberg’s three-run homer off Harrisburg starter Justin Echols.

Chris Schroder worked the ninth inning for his third save.
