CAMBRIDGE, N.H. (AP) – Authorities found a Conway man early Friday, two days after he disappeared while apparently scouting out fishing holes.

Fish and Game said Timothy Coombe, 45, had gotten stuck on a muddy road trying to find a remote pond on Wednesday, and stayed with his vehicle until found Friday morning.

He was reported in good health, though he has Parkinson’s Disease and did not have his medicine with him.

“He was fine,” said Fish and Game Sgt. Michael Moody, who found Coombe around 8:15 a.m.

Moody said Fish and Game learned earlier Friday that Coombe had asked a highway road crew for directions to Success Pond in the Township of Success on Wednesday.

He was found on the road to the pond, about two miles from the main road.

Coombe had a cell phone, but couldn’t make any calls from his remote location.
