Something seems to be wrong in the way candidates for local offices in the town of Lisbon are elected.

Deborah Danuski is running for a three-year term as well as a one-year term for a place on the Lisbon School Committee.

Layne Curtis, who resigned from the Lisbon School Committee recently, is currently running for two offices. He is running for a three-year term on the Lisbon Water Committee board as well as a three-year term on the Lisbon Board of Selectmen.

I believe that a candidate for municipal office should be allowed to run for one office at a time.
