RUMFORD – Three people suffered minor injuries when a car rolled down a hill on Plymouth Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Scott Dyer, 27, and Casey Mann, 22, both of Rumford, were getting out of their car with Dyer’s five-month-old child and an unnamed 2-year-old, according to police. The car came out of gear and both Mann and Dyer jumped back into the car as it started rolling backward down the hill. Dyer was holding the infant at the time.

Dyer, Mann and the infant were all thrown from the car when it ran into the curb, according to Rumford Police. All three suffered minor injuries, according to police. The 2-year-old was still belted into the back seat and was not injured.
