LEWISTON – Dr. Amir Modarressi and Pam Sirois, RN, MSN, ANP-BC, will host a skin cancer screening on Friday, May 14, at St. Mary’s Regional Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. The event is free and will take place by appointment only.

The center will hold the screening in recognition of May’s designation as Skin Cancer Awareness Month. The center is located at 97 Campus Ave., adjacent to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Two dermatologists will be on site to perform an individual assessment and, if necessary, referrals will be made for appropriate medical follow-up. No lesions will be removed at the screening, nor will biopsies be taken.
