WILTON – Mount Blue Agway is the newest John Deere dealership to complete the company’s Commercial and Consumer Equipment Gold Star Performance Standards Program.

Launched in spring 2004, the Gold Star Program offers a baseline of performance standards created for John Deere dealers to help add value to their customers’ experience.

Mount Blue Agway was evaluated and surpassed John Deere standards in the five gold star categories: Sales/Marketing, Customer Support, Operation Management, Retail Environment and Employee Development.

“Even though there’s an extensive certification process attached to this program, Gold Star is not an award for our dealers. Rather, it represents a promise they’re making to deliver the ultimate ownership experience to customers,” said Michael Jackson, market analyst, dealer channel marketing, John Deere Worldwide Commercial and Consumer Equipment Division.

“For John Deere customers, that means they will walk into well-lit, clean and organized dealership showrooms, work with knowledgeable sales staff and service technicians and receive excellent after-the-sale service – including maintenance, parts and service – that is second to none in the outdoor power equipment industry,” he said.
