LEWISTON – Anna Y. Chabot, 73, a resident of 185 Summer St., Auburn died peacefully Saturday evening, May 8, with family by her side after a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston, April 28, 1931, the daughter of Alfred and Jane Gerard Lebel.
She had been employed in the local textile industry until her disability. Throughout her life, she enjoyed music and dancing. She loved her children, and was an avid follower of the local musical group, Sonny and the Ravens, which was, composed of her two brothers, Sonny & Roger.
She had also resided in Manchester, N.H., for 22 years moving back to this community several years ago.
Survivors include one son, Peter Chabot of Lewiston; three daughters, Lorraine Tremblay of Nashua, N.H., Carol Schroeder of Buckfield, and Susan Kramarz and her husband, John of Auburn; three brothers, Rudy Lebel, Raymond Lebel and his wife Jacqueline and Roger Lebel all of Lewiston; one sister, Pauline Wilson and her husband, Keith of Norway; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Chabot March 11, 1974; a brother, Sonny; one sister, Anita; and one granddaughter, Cassidy Chabot.
