The Leavitt High School, Practical Skills for Jacks and Jill’s who earlier this year submitted articles concerning money management skills has won first runner up in the nation wide contest. After all the presentations by financial advisors, the class put together a portfolio of the five money management topics with an overview of the entire project for a final assessment. The class will receive a $1,500 personal computer for the classroom and a $1,000 gift certificate to a leading online merchant that can be used for classroom supplies.
