MECHANIC FALLS – The Masons of Tyrian Masonic Lodge 73, AF and AM, invite the community to take part in a Breakfast Blood Drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the American Legion Hall, 49 Elm St.

The blood drive is a community service project of the Tyrian Masonic Lodge 73 and is an effort to help the American Red Cross improve its bloods supply.

The Red Cross said blood inventories are at critically low levels for O-, A- and B- blood, but all blood is needed to keep stockpiles at optimal levels.

Donors must be at least 17 (ID required), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health on the day of donation, have no history of Hepatitis or AIDS, and blood donated prior to the event would have taken place no earlier than 56 days prior.

Donors will receive breakfast, and will be eligible for a drawing for two Red Sox tickets to a home game. Everyone is welcome. All Masons are encouraged to take part in the community service project.

For more information, contact the American Legion Hall, Acting Master of Tyrian Lodge Joshua Armstrong at 346-3015, or the American Red Cross at 1-800-482-0743.
