AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College is offering a seminar on positive change management called Appreciative Inquiry.

Appreciative Inquiry (CCS 023-01), also know as AI, is designed to assist business leaders, human resources managers, educators, counselors and any professional interested in positive change management. The one-day program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the college. The cost is $145 and includes all materials and lunch.

AI is a process that seeks to elevate moments when an individual or organization is performing optimally and uses these peak experiences as the basis for positive, transformative and sustainable change.

The highly participative workshop will introduce participants to the entire process and show where AI may be applied in life and work.

The program will be presented by Jerry Gosselin, certified as an AI facilitator and practitioner. In 17 years of providing objective insight, executing skills in interpersonal communication and acting as a catalyst for the facilitation of strong team building efforts, he has made a focused impact on improving the development of organizations.
