TURNER – The annual meeting of the South Turner Upper Street Cemetery Association will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the home of Reynard and Pamela Gilbert. All those interested are invited.

Cemetery tour

AUBURN – Auburn historian Gordon Windle will guide a tour of the Dillingham Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday, May 17. He will discuss its lore, the people at peace there and the cemetery most people don’t know exists.

Directions to the cemetery; Route 4, to left on Lakeshore Drive, right on Maple Hill Road, Maple Hill Road becomes Dillingham Hill Road, continue straight and the cemetery will be on the right.

Masonic degree

AUBURN – Tranquil Lodge 29, AF and AM, will work the Master Mason degree on two candidates at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at the lodge hall, Turner Street. Supper will be served at 6:30 and all Master Masons are welcome.

DAV meeting

AUBURN – Chapter 11, Disabled American Veterans, will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Army Reserve Center, 1072 Minot Ave. Information on the convention and the Memorial Day parade will be available. Call Arline at 782-7737, ext. 201, for more information.
