LIVERMORE FALLS – Wilton artist and painter of sunsets Barbara Hathaway will exhibit some of her work at the Livermore Falls Androscoggin Bank art gallery during May and June.

She creates in oil, watercolor, pastels, sculpture and mosaic tiles.

An oil painting titled Eagle Eye shows a vibrant sunset and was a red ribbon winner. Several watercolor paintings of different sizes and prices reflect the Maine landscape with evergreens and white birches. Lighthouse Sunset and Sunset Cove both reflect an evening in Maine. Old Fashioned Buttons details a collection of buttons and sewing items from Nana’s button box.

A pastel painting called Black Man shows the emotion of his time.

Hathaway holds a certificate of advertising design and is a member of the Portland Museum of Art, Upcountry Artists and Franklin County Arts and Crafts Association.
