AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, May 17, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St. Past noble grands and veteran members of the lodge will be honored. A memorial service for members who died in the past year will be conducted by the chaplain, Lucille Nelson, president of the Rebekah Assembly. All members are invited.

Legion agenda

LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Trinity Church Hall, 247 Bates St.

The agenda will include an update on membership and finances and planning for the Memorial Day parade on May 29. The building committee chairman, Joseph Paradis, will give an update and delegates and alternates for the state American Legion convention in Augusta will be chosen. Installation of Post 22 officers on June 3 will be discussed and there will be a guest speaker.

Sodality banquet

LEWISTON – The Ladies of St. Ann Sodality of Holy Family Parish will hold the annual Sodalist of the Year banquet on Sunday, May 23, at the Holy Family Parish Hall. Doors will open at noon and luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be obtained by calling Ginette Gladu at 782-5150 or any of the officers. Husbands and guests are invited. Menu will consist of chicken and fish and all the fixings.

The Sodalist of the Year will be crowned and honored. The entertainment will feature Florence Rose Martin and her daughter, Darlene Rose Kritzman, in a musical program.

They have harmonized together for more than 40 years.

Golfing offer

AUBURN – In a sign of support for the troops who are battling the war against terror, the Martindale Country Club offers all area juniors under age 18, who have a parent or parents serving in the armed forces in the Middle East, a free junior membership. Relay meeting

AUBURN – A volunteer committee meeting for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at the Auburn Housing Authority, Great Falls Plaza. Volunteers are needed for the June 25 event.

Anyone who would like to join the relay as a volunteer or as a participant can call the American Cancer Society at 373-3701.
