HYANNIS, Mass. – Ryan Gamache won a unanimous four-round decision over Jose Ortega on a Saturday night boxing card.

The victory improves Gamache’s professional record to 2-0.

Gamache, 19, the nephew of former two-time world boxing champion Joey Gamache, boxed a shutout against the brawler, winning every round on all three judges’ scorecards.

The Lewiston boxer, who is training with his uncle at both at the Gamache Boxing Club in Lewiston and at the Gleason Gym in Brooklyn, N.Y., is expected to return to the ring for his third professional fight July 16 at the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, N.H.
