OXFORD – Persistent rain showers forced cancellation of Saturday night’s weekly race program at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Practice was complete and 120 cars were in the pit area preparing to line up for feature action in five divisions when the skies opened.

No immediate makeup date was announced. The main event, the three-segment “Ironman” race for the All Pro Strictly Stocks, will be contested later in the season.
