New officers include Geraldine Dostie of Augusta, president; Jan Flowers of Winterport, vice president; Marilyn Snipe of Waterville, secretary; and Barbara Jamison of West Gardiner, treasurer. At-large members of the board include Sue Staples of Bangor and Anne Danforth of Chelsea.

The chorus recently performed at St. Augustine’s Church in Augusta and at the State House before singing the National Anthem in the House of Representatives.

The women meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the River View Elementary School in South Gardiner.

All women and girls are invited to attend rehearsals to listen or join the singing. Call Gerry Dostie for more information at 622-5730 or e-mail her at gadostie@gwi.net.
