OPEN HOUSE: Dozens of area people took advantage of Friday’s open house at Hotel Harris. New owner John Roza plans many changes and renovations over the next few years to try to make the historic structure a centerpiece of the community. Here, Gloria Flynn and Virginia Jones, both retired health-care professionals, reminisce about dances and family reunions that once took place at the ornate hotel. Building manager Gordon Chaisson provided tours to scores of people throughout the afternoon.
