WINTHROP – The Cobbossee Watershed District has announced its annual meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the Winthrop Middle School cafeteria.

A special presentation, “A Native Mainer’s Perspective about Fish from Away: Maine’s Invasive Fish Problem,” will be provided by Dick Behr of Readfield, a lifelong fisherman.

The main purpose of the meeting is the public vote on the annual budget. Voting on the budget is open to all registered voters from Gardiner, Litchfield, Manchester, Monmouth, Readfield, Richmond, Wayne and Winthrop.
