LEWISTON – LifeFlight of Maine and Central Maine Medical Center will sponsor an EMS Appreciation Day on Friday, May 21.

To honor EMS providers, CMMC and LifeFlight will host a daylong modular education program allowing participants to earn Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support Continuing Education Hours in a variety of program formats.

EMS providers wishing to earn credits may join the EMS Appreciation Day at any time during the day to take part and obtain credits. Refreshments will be served throughout the day. Everyone attending will receive a “thank you gift.” There will also be door prizes.

The day will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 9 p.m. It will be held in the CMMC Chairmen’s Room, located on the ground floor of the 12 High Street Medical Office Building next to the hospital. For more information, contact LifeFlight flight nurse Cathy Case at 795-2585 or [email protected].
