AUBURN – Lucille I. Osborne, 80, died May 17, at an Auburn nursing home.
She was born March 2, 1924, in Fairfield, daughter of Walter and Louise (Foster) Ross. She married Robert W. Osborne on May 8, 1943 and was predeceased by him in 1995 after 52 years of marriage.
She worked at Pride’s Manufacturing Company in Guilford for 32 years. She enjoyed being a dedicated wife and mother and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville.
She is survived by son, Robert Osborne and wife, Cindy, of Lewiston; three daughters and their husbands, Judy and Ed Grant of Sangerville, Jill and Jim Burgess of Lisbon and Deborah and Galen Elderkin of Sangerville; sister Elizabeth Osborne of Kingston, R.I.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Connie Ross and a granddaughter, Amy Jo Elderkin.
