Dear Sun Spots: The Cat Farm, a nonprofit, no kill shelter for cats is expanding.

We need tax deductible contributions for our building fund. Please address them to The Cat Farm Rescue and Shelter, 28 Ledgehill Road, Bowdoin, ME 04287. Or call JB at (207) 353-3206, for more information. We rescue cats from unwanted homes and the streets. We have a little blind one. We taken them in and clean them up, get them tested, provide them with current shots and place them up for adoption. We run by donations alone. We don’t charge for the cats. The most important thing is finding the cats a good home. They’re not caged. This is their home. Please leave a message if not available. We also take donations of plywood, wood, building supplies. We also have a wish list: paper towels, laundry soap, towels, cleaning supplies, 35 mm film. Call JB to discuss their needs. – Kelly Chase, Auburn.
