LEWISTON – The Queen’s Guild Sodality of St. Joseph’s Parish will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the Green Ladle, Goddard Road.

Guest speaker will be the Rev. Michael Seavey, pastor of St. Joseph’s Church. Installation of officers will follow the program. Tickets are $10 and can be obtained by calling Clara Glendenning at 782-1851

Grange award

WINTHROP – Winthrop Grange 209 will hold Open House and Community Service Award Night at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at the Grange Hall on Old Lewiston Road. The hall is handicapped accessible. Rita Moran and Eric Robbins of Apple Valley Books will receive the award, and the public is invited. Joyce Fessenden will be guest pianist. Refreshments will be served following the program, presented by Lecturer Stan Taylor.

BOWDOINHAM – The South Bowdoin Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at the home of Jack White, 23 JB Tome Lane on the White Road.
