MEXICO – Memorial Day plans are to include honoring those soldiers from Mexico who are currently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan as well as the names of all soldiers from the 10 River Valley towns. The soldiers will be honored during a special ceremony May 31. The Citizens Advisory Board and other municipal and civic groups will soon begin planning the town’s part in the Oxford County bicentennial celebration. Stories on these events published May 14 and 17 had an incorrect dateline.
