AUBURN – Diversity of opinion, unity of purpose! Amber Churchill of Auburn was presented her Kerry delegate packet by Aymie Walshe, executive director, Maine State Democratic Party recently.
At the same time, Ed Desgrosseilliers, chairman, Auburn Democratic City Committee, presented Amber a check to cover the cost of her registration to the Maine Democratic Party Convention.
It was done in recognition of her achievement as one of the youngest to be elected to a delegate position to the state convention and in celebration of her becoming a member of the Auburn City Democratic Committee. Amber is a senior at Edward Little High School.
Dave Adams, candidate for election to State House of Representatives, District 70, was also on hand for the presentation. Amber’s mother, Edith, and her father, Cameron, will also participate in the state convention as Dean delegates. Amber’s two sisters, Moriah and Tara, volunteered and have been selected to serve as pages at the convention.
