LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, Auxiliary will meet at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, at the Multi-Purpose Center for the last session of the season. Installation of officers will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Scout sale
AUBURN – The New Auburn American Legion Boy Scout Troop 153 will hold a fund-raising yard sale at 37 Swett Ave. from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 22 and 23.
Scouts are requesting donations from the community. The money raised will be used for equipment for camping activities and for activities and gifts for veterans at Togus and nursing homes.
The troop is active in community projects. Members have attended a Camporee and are preparing to place flags on graves for Memorial Day and to march in the parade.

VFW meeting
LEWISTON – The Longley-Dionne Post 9150, VFW, and Auxiliary will meet at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 23, instead of noon, at the Lewiston Elks Lodge, 1675 Lisbon St.
The agenda will include installation of officers and discussion of summer programs. All members are invited.
The post and auxiliary are recruiting new members. All eligible veterans are welcome.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on May 17 were: N/S, first, Grace and Luke Merry; second, Anna Vitiello and Randy Silver; third, Helen Little and George Vogt; fourth, Lue Bilodeau and Roger Briggs; first in B, Nancy Ferris and Eileen Minnehan.

Dog classes
AUBURN – The Great Falls Dog Obedience Club will start another six-week obedience class on Wednesday, May 26, in Auburn. It is open to puppies and dogs from 3 1/2 months and up.
Beginners’ class will be held at 6:30 p.m. and advanced at 7:30 p.m.
