WILTON – Planners will deal with one tabled application and three new applications when they meet Thursday. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Town Office.

Planners tabled an application from Tammy McGowan, Louis Webster and Joyce Webster until the business owners provide more information. The group wants to build a business complex on Route 2 across from the Big Apple to house several businesses. They asked for permits to operate: a catering and cake service; retail sales of windows, doors and carpets; kayak and canoe rentals; and a guide service. The building is planned on a three-quarters acre lot, which was subdivided from surrounding property.

In other business, planners will consider an application by Brett Philbrick for an auto repair service at the former Archer Automotive on Lake Street. Edward Boucher is seeking a permit to operate a business in a garage facility with little or no on-site service.

Berry Mountain Enterprises submitted a proposal to build a 60-by-80-by-16-foot building with a 20-by-40-foot lean-to behind an existing structure.

The plan is to use the building as a service bay for tractor repairs.
