KINGFIELD – A health forum, Leading Seniors through the Health Care Maze, will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Webster Hall. The forum will answer many of the frequently asked questions about the changing health care system in Maine.

Basic information about estate recovery and related resources will also be addressed. Although the forum is geared toward seniors, all are welcome. Family members who assist loved ones in accessing health care will also find the forum informative.

Presentations will be given by Darcy Shargo, health care access program manager at the Maine Primary Care Association, and Pam Studwell, director of the Legal Access Project, Legal Services for the Elderly.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during and following the forum. Questions such as:

•Are you eligible for MaineCare or interested in learning more about what the program covers? or

•How recent changes in prescription drug coverage options and the new Medicare drug card may impact your benefits?

Transportation to the forum is available for Kingfield residents only and will be provided by the Kingfield United Methodist Church.

For more information about the forum, call Jack McKee at 265-4139. Persons in need of transportation may call 265-4613 to arrange for pickup. Please leave a message.

The forum is co-sponsored by Mount Abram Regional Health Center, HealthReach Community Health Centers, the Kingfield United Methodist Church, the Maine Primary Care Association and Legal Services for the Elderly.
