I am absolutely appalled at the thoughtless behavior of whoever found it necessary to steal four Power Wheels children’s toys out of my mother-in-law’s driveway May 8 in Durham.

I was called at work, listening to the kids crying in the background – it broke my heart. What could these children, between the ages of 23 months and 6 years old, have done that would make someone want to take their Christmas and birthday gifts?

I hope someone may have seen something suspicious on the Swamp Road that day, or actually maybe a family member or neighbor of this horrible person has all of a sudden seen other kids playing with them.

If anyone has seen anything or overheard anything, I hope they will let us know. These were very precious to these little children, and they would like to have them back.
