BRUNSWICK – The Center Stage Players, a theater company for older adults in residence at the 55 Plus Center, will present “Different Paths,” a new one-act play by Edith Hazard Saturday, May 22. The 1 p.m. performance will be followed by a discussion with the playwright and the cast. Coffee and dessert will be served.

“Different Paths” was premiered in an informal reading at the 55 Plus Center. The play will be given an informal “chamber theater” production, a script-in-hand staging with informal props and lighting. Cast members are Vivian Kemp, Dave Ater, Jack Mahoney, Reba Short, Mary Cass Wallace, Eleanor Grafe and Angie Atkins.

Hazard is a resident of Topsham and a member of the 55 Plus Center’s Writer’s Group and the Center Stage Players. Besides writing plays, Hazard writes poetry and short stories. She is also an actress, having recently performed in several Center Stage productions.
