The Maine League of Conservation Voters has endorsed Peggy Rotundo in her candidacy for re-election to the state Senate.

In her two terms, Peggy has consistently voted in favor of protecting our natural resources. She knows that clean air and clean water are essential to our health, economy and way of life.

More importantly, Peggy has demonstrated strong leadership on behalf of Lewiston. During the past legislative session, she fought against the proposal by powerful special interests to downgrade the water quality standard for the Androscoggin River. Peggy argued passionately that Lewiston deserves clean water as much as other communities in the state.

We urge Lewiston voters to support Peggy in her primary election.
