FARMINGTON – American Legion Post No. 28 will hold its annual Memorial Day services on Monday, May 31, and includes:
• 9 a.m. – services at the World War I Memorial on Upper Main Street.
• 9:30 a.m. – services with speaker inside the Legion Post on High Street.
At the close of the 9:30 service, a short ceremony will be held outside the Post to lay a wreath honoring veterans.
At the close of the wreath-laying ceremony, the annual Memorial Day parade will take place at approximately 10 a.m.
The Post invites past and serving veterans, regular, reserve and National Guard to join in the tribute.
Following the parade, Post No. 28 will serve refreshments inside.
