PERU – Townspeople are invited to attend a public informational session and make comments on an inventory of community assets and other facts about the town that will likely appear in the comprehensive plan.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the historic Rockemeka Grange Hall.
The inventory is part of the writing of the town’s first-ever comprehensive plan.
Bill Hine, committee chairman, said plans are to bring a proposed plan before voters during the March 2005 annual town meeting.
Along with recommendations, the final document will provide a listing of the community’s assets, infrastructure, natural features and other data.
