MEXICO – Alice L. Paul, 76, of Angie Lane, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 22, at her residence.
She was born in Mexico, on Jan. 17, 1928, a daughter of George T. and Gertrude J. (Anderson) Murray.
She was educated in Mexico schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School. She enjoyed gardening; tending to her geraniums and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In her later years she traveled with her sister, Annie.She will be greatly missed by her cat “Fluffy.”
Surviving are four sons, Gary E. Paul of Mexico, Timothy D. Paul of Crestview, Fla., Steven J. Paul of Mexico, David C. Paul of Custer, Ky.; two daughters, Sandra T. DeCourcy and her husband Peter of Mexico and Jane M. Bradford and her husband Alan of Rumford Center; three sisters, Lola Holmes of Wilton, Myrtle Kron of Bloomfield, Conn., and Annie Roberts of Mexico; one brother, Earl Murray and his wife Jennie of Mexico; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edmond H. Paul in 1990; a brother, Donald Murray; and a grandson, David Charles Paul II.
