This letter is to comment on the Sun Journal occasional series, “Choosing Home” (May 20). I am a family member who has dealt with the wonderful, caring people at Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice and registered nurse Karen Flynn.

Death is a difficult situation, which is made better for all by hospice, and when you get a caring and knowledgeable nurse such as Karen, who explains and listens, then choosing home is not so scary.

Hospice is the bright sun on an otherwise cloudy day.
