Who is afraid of a Maine tax cap? That is an easy one to answer. All those who have been living off the backs of Maine’s working poor.
The Maine governor, Legislature, public school system and the clique that somehow has hold of local control.
Citizens deserve the type of government they vote for, and if they are too lazy and dumb to vote, they have no right griping.
Maine continues to export the same three things it always has: jobs, our young people and blueberries.
The Maine Legislature has used only one way to control its spending appetites over the years and that’s tax and spend. Now, it’s time to see what the Maine over-taxed taxpayer wants to do.
Don’t be led astray by anyone. Ask only one question, and that’s: are you happy with state taxes and local property taxes? I think voters will check the right box.
