SANFORD, Fla. – Richard Martel, 60, of Sanford, Fla., passed away May 22, at his home.

Born in Lewiston, Sept. 27, 1943, he resided in Lewiston until moving to Florida in 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; children, Michael Martel and Gail Chaudoin; grandchildren, Christopher, Heather and Michael Martel Jr. and Joshua Chaudoin; his mother, Gertrude Martel; his sister, Doris Roberts; and brother, Larry.
