LISBON FALLS – The Memorial Day parade route for Lisbon Falls and Lisbon will be held as follows:
The Lisbon Falls parade will start at 9 a.m. at Crafts on Route 196, go up Main Street and School Street behind the Marion T. Morse School for placing of the wreath at the monument. The parade will go back up School Street and return to Route 196 to Lisbon High School for wreath placements at those monuments, then disperse.
The Lisbon parade will start approximately at 10:30 a.m. at the Lisbon Elementary School and proceed down Main Street to the Webster Street Bridge for a wreath ceremony. Marchers will go to Coombs-Mountfort Post 158, American Legion, for a final wreath ceremony.
The Legion will hold its annual chicken barbecue immediately after the parade for members and guests.
