PORTLAND (AP) – David Bacani had three hits and the Binghamton Mets scored four runs in the seventh inning en route to a 5-1 win over the Portland Sea Dogs on Wednesday to sweep their three-game series.

Mets starter Jason Scobie (2-1) allowed one run and six hits over six and two-thirds innings while striking out five and walking three.

Josh Stevens (2-2) gave up all five Binghamton runs and nine hits.

Binghamton grabbed a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Bacani doubled home Jason Huber from second.

Angel Pagan, Prentice Redman and Ron Acuna all had run-producing singles during the four-run rally in the seventh inning.

Portland’s lone run came in the seventh on an RBI double by Eric Johnson.

The Sea Dogs loaded the bases with two out in the ninth before reliever Blake McGinley struck out Joe Kilburg.
