AUBURN – Diane Muise of Auburn will present a concert of gospel music Friday, June 4, at the Court Street Baptist Church. A professional singer for many years, Muise has toured across the United States and Canada. She now performs 150 to 200 concerts per year. She presents a varied program of different types of gospel music interspersed with humor, caring and the sharing of real-life experiences.

Winner of numerous national awards for both singing and songwriting, she has recorded nine solo albums in Nashville and has recorded a live concert album in Auburn. Ten of her songs have been published in her songbook, “The Songs of Diane Muise.”

Muise is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers; the Gospel Music Association; and the Southern Gospel Music Association. An acclaimed speaker for women’s conferences, retreats and seminars, Musie wrote a book titled “God Takes the Broken Pieces of Our Lives and Makes a … STAINED GLASS WINDOW,” released by DaLiMi Music Publishing in November of 1997.

The concert, which is open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge; however, freewill offerings will be accepted for the Muise Music Ministry.
