Good deed

At first I was panic stricken, frightened beyond belief. My purse was there and then it was gone. I was in disbelief, thinking to myself that it just couldn’t be. I thought about having to deal with all the horrible things such as getting another driver’s license, canceling my check book and credit cards, as well as the loss of things that could never be replaced.

But then a miracle happened. When I checked at the service desk at the store where I was, someone had turned in my little black purse.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have saved me from what would have caused so much grief. I believe that one good soul gives to another and your good deed will come back to you in return for not only your strength, but for your honesty.
