Macdonald has led a life of service to his fellow citizens. Bob’s father was a firefighter and Bob is a retired police officer. Bob fought in Vietnam as a Marine in the Battle of Ia Drang Valley. While with the LPD, Bob served as a patrol officer, school liaison officer and hostage negotiator. He continues his service to Lewiston’s young people as an ed tech. He is untiring in his service to veterans of all wars.
