Every day I read about the proposed tax cap and wonder why our elected officials in Augusta are not doing something creative to show the people of this state that they have our best interests in mind. Don’t they realize the need to stop the big spending coming at the expense of the property owner?

Since they seem incapable to do anything on their own, maybe we, the voters, need to send them a strong message by voting them out of office.

This is one of the reasons why I am going to vote for Paul Madore for the state Senate. Paul’s fresh approach to this and other issues will be a blessing. Paul wants to work hard to help increase small businesses and to shift the tax burden.

Paul is not afraid to make a difference.
