LISBON FALLS – Jean Marie Caron, 77, died Saturday, May 29.

Born in Ridgefield Park, N.J., Aug. 4, 1926, she was the daughter of A. Charles and Helen Boylan Siletti. She moved to Maine with her family at the age of nine, and loved the state of Maine.

A graduate of Lisbon High School, where she was the Lisbon Valedictorian, she also attended night school at Bliss Business College.

In 1949, she married Oliver A. Caron.

An employee of the United States Postal Service at the Lisbon Post Office, she retired after 38 years of service.

She was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Church.

She enjoyed volunteer work and was a founding member of the trustees of the Lisbon Area Christian Outreach, and a volunteer at its clothing bank.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen and her husband Gregory Molatch of Eastbrook; two sons, Jeffrey of Monmouth, and James and his wife Zahava of Lisbon Falls; seven grandchildren, Billy, Trever, Arielle, Anna, HyungJa and Ben; numerous nieces and nephews; a sister, Laura and her husband David Hale of Lisbon Falls; a brother, Charles and his wife Arlene of Owls Head; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Rosenblad of Worcester, Mass., and Elaine Caron of Chesnee, S.C.; and a brother-in-law, Maurice Gagnon of Norway.

She loved her family and friends and was always thankful for God’s many blessings.
