WILTON – A public hearing will be held at the beginning of the Planning Board’s 7 p.m. Thursday meeting at the town office.

People will have an opportunity to discuss a proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance during the hearing. The proposal is to change a resource protection area to commercial zoning. The issue will be decided by voters at the annual town meeting later this month.

Planners will also consider three new applications.

Jerri Petrie wants to have an alterations and sewing business in her home at 83 Weld Road. The home is in residential I zoning.

Score Health has applied for a permit to do business as a consulting firm. It also plans to sell computer software. It will be at 284 Main St.

Richard Breal wants to continue to operate the former Steve’s Market as a convenience store under new ownership. The market is on Depot Street in Dryden. Breal purchased the store and has been operating it as Rick’s Market.
