Women’s tourney set

WATERVILLE – Waterville Country Club will be hosting the Women’s Maine State Golf Association Championship, July 26-28. It’ll be stroke play format for the 54-hole tournament, with tee times at 7:30 a.m.

The event is open to any WMSGA member who has participated in at least three WMSGA-sponsored tourneys during the past year. Tri-State and NEWGA are considered eligible tournaments.

Junior Championship is open to any girl who has not reached her 19th birthday and has not yet begun her first semester in college, meeting all other criteria for the WMSGA Championship.

Senior Championship is open to anyone 50 or over, meeting the WMSGA criteria.

Entries for the WMSGA Championship open June 25 and close July 6.
