PERU – Selectmen voted last Monday to accept a bid from C.B. Kenworth to supply the town with a new truck.
The South Portland company put in a bid of $48,710. Of the several bids sent in, C.B. Kenworth’s was near the lowest and it was one of the few that met or exceeded every specification required by the Peru Roads Department.
Town officials expect final delivery of the 2005 International in time for winter plowing.
