Lewiston is fortunate to have Sen. Peggy Rotundo represent our community. A staunch supporter of public schools over the last 12 years, she served on the Education Committee, affecting a change in the per pupil guarantee in the funding formula. This resulted in an increase in funds for the school committee budget, while not affecting the city’s property tax.
Rotundo is committed to serving her constituents and representing their needs. She is involved in our community, often attending political, social and educational events. A popular keynote speaker, Rotundo reaches out to all ages, as was evident at the recent Shining Stars Ceremony.
