AUBURN – Lucille L. Bergeron, 73, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2004 at her home in Auburn.

She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 22, 1931, the daughter of Roland and Yvonne (Morin) Mathieu, where she grew up and was educated in the Lewiston School System.

She later married Joseph Bergeron of Brunswick and lived in Auburn and raised five children, four sons and a daughter. Her last place of employment was in the Auburn School Department. She was a member of St. Louis Church in Auburn and the Ladies of St. Anne.

She enjoyed singing with her sisters or alone and had performed at many different venues. She was a champion bowler and also enjoyed camping, traveling and jewelry.

She is survived by her children, Michael of Falmouth, Susan of Auburn, Raymond of Oxford, Ronald of Auburn and Robert of Auburn; three grandchildren, Allison and Michael of Falmouth and Gabrielle of Oxford; two brothers, Bertrand Mathieu of Lewiston and Robert Mathieu of Lewiston and sister, Anita Gosselin of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph and sister, Jeanette LeFlemme.
