FREEPORT – Musician and songwriter Michael Card, best known for the tedious research and biblical scholarship that support the themes of his songs, will perform in concert Thursday, June 24, at Pinetree Academy.

The award-winning artist has written a book and recorded a new studio album, both titled “A Fragile Stone,” focusing on the apostle Peter, whom Jesus referred to as the “rock.” Many of Card’s songs on the album are written from the first-person perspective of Peter.
